Fantastic meal to put in the slow cooker and come home to your house smelling wonderful! And easy…who wouldn’t love this?!
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 lb Boneless pork shoulder roast
- 1/2 large Sweet onion, sliced
- 1 clove Garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2t Ground black pepper
- 1/4t Sea salt
- 1/2C The Olive Grove’s Espresso Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/3C Honey
- 1/4C Tomato paste
- 2T Soy sauce
Place onion and garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker. Trim excess fat off the pork, season with salt and pepper and place on top of the onion and garlic.
Add the remaining ingredients into the slow cooker and set it at 8 hours on low. After the 8 hours, shred the pork, add it back to the slow cooker to marinade in the sauce for a few minutes while you prepare to serve it.
Serve it as a sandwich, over rice, or on a baguette topped with greens as an appetizer. Have leftovers? Make homemade pulled pork pizza with mozzarella cheese and caramelized onions!
