Arbequina (Chile)

Description

Fruity and fresh, this arbequina has a very present aroma of green almond and fresh Granny Smith apple; the flavor is rich, creamy avocado and marzipan with hints of lettuce, bell pepper and artichoke. Still quite spicy with a warming peppercorn finish, the bitterness is very mild, with the nutty flavor of almond and bitter culinary herbs, making this oil very harmonious with a long, lingering pungency.

Pair with fresh pasta and creamy cheese sauces. Also lovely over labneh to mop up with fresh pita or crostini. Whisk into simple salad dressings and drizzle over fresh greens for a simple dressing.
