Grilled Salmon with Maple Ginger Glaze


  • 1/3 C The Olive Grove’s Blackberry Ginger, Maple or Traditional 18-Yr Style Balsamic Vinegar
  • 3/4 C Maple syrup
  • 3 T Fresh ginger, peeled and minced (skip this step if using Blackberry Ginger Balsamic)
  • 4 cloves Garlic, peeled and minced
  • 3/4 t Red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 lb Salmon, skin on
  • 4 T The Olive Grove’s Super Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil such as, Picual or Koroneiki Evoo


Pre-heat grill to medium.  In a small bowl, mix together Balsamic, syrup, ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes and salt.  Coat both sides of salmon with olive oil.  Place salmon, flesh side down, on the grill.  Cook 7-8 minutes.  Turn over, then spoon sauce over the cooked side of the fish.  Grill until sauce has formed a glaze and the salmon is opaque in the center, about 4-5 minutes.
