Brussels Sprouts with Apples


  • 16oz  Brussels sprouts
  • 1  Granny Smith apple
  • 2T  The Olive Grove’s Super Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil such as Hojiblanca, Coratina, or Arbequina
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


Cut off stems of the Brussels sprouts and remove any wilted outer leaves.  Cut the sprouts in half.  Leaving the skins on, slice the apples into thin slices.  Add olive oil to a heated pan and sauté Brussels sprouts for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Then, add apples to the sprouts and sauté an additional 5 minutes.
