Have you ever looked at the ingredients in your jar of peanut butter? Once you see how easy this recipe is, not to mention delicious, you’ll start making this a staple recipe in your home and cut out all of those unnecessary ingredients.
- 2C Roasted, unsalted peanuts
- 1T Honey
- 1/4C The Olive Grove’s Ultra Premium Leccino, Picual or Arbosana Extra Virgin Olive Oil -OR- Roasted Almond or Roasted Walnut oil (my favorite is the almond or walnut)
Place the peanuts in the jar of your blender. Add the honey. Pour the olive oil over the peanuts and wait 30 seconds until the oil flows to the bottom. Turn the blender on high. Process until the desired level of creaminess, or up to 2 minutes for creamy peanut butter. It may be necessary to turn off the blender a few times and scrape down the sides of the blender jar. Store tightly covered in the refrigerator up to 6 weeks.
