Southwest Burger


  • 2lbs  Ground beef
  • 3T  The Olive Grove’s Chipotle or Garlic flavored Olive Oil
  • 1T  The Olive Grove’s Southwest Blend
  • 2 1/2T  The Olive Grove’s Traditional 18 Year Aged Balsamic
  • 5-6 slices  Chihuahua cheese (optional)


Preheat grill.  Let the ground beef sit out at room temperature about 30 minutes before you begin to handle it.  Mix in the olive oil, seasoning blend and balsamic.  Divvy up into 5-6 equal parts and make patties.  Do not over handle them, and do not tightly pack them.  Make sure the meat is loosely packed together.  Grill the patties to your desired temperature, 3-4 minutes per side for medium rare.  With 1 minute left on the second side, top with cheese.

This burger is also great topped with avocado!
