This savory dish is the way to a man’s heart!
- 2lbs Red potatoes, cubed
- 1/2C The Olive Grove’s Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil (Chipotle or Harissa Olive Oil for spicy kick)
- 1 1/2t Sea Salt
- 1T Ground black pepper
- 1T Paprika
- 2T Garlic powder
- 4T Hot sauce
- 6 Italian Sausage links
- 2C Shredded cheddar cheese
- 1C Crumbled Bacon
- 1C Green onion, diced
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a large bowl mix the olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and hot sauce. Add the potatoes to the bowl and mix until well coated. Remove the potatoes from the bowl and put in a 9×13 dish. Save any sauce left over for later! Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
Slice the sausage links into bite sized pieces and add it to the bowl that had the potatoes and stir around in the left over sauce.
Mix together the cheese, bacon and green onions in a small bowl.
Once the potatoes are done, remove from the oven and lower the temperature to 375. Mix in the uncooked sausage to the dish and top with the cheese mixture. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, or until the sausage is cooked.
